headed our way. the only unfortunate thing, we have offshore winds. fire danger is going to start to increase because over the next week or so we don't have any rain in sight. basically hear us talk about this every single year where we get this warm air and the sun heats the earth. you get the particles of air that starts to rub up against each other, especially as they come down the mountains. as the friction starts to warm that air, of course that's how you get to warming and that creates again that added warming to the air which increases the fire danger. over the next few days temperatures do cool off by the weekend. again, today and tomorrow drink plenty of water. 80s and 90s headed our way. >> you're right, friction does do that. my hands. over here san mateo bridge, look at this. a little slowing. if we can get that shot coming toward us is a wall of head lights because of a crew that's clearing the cones. we have just one lane overnight clearing and eastbound is coming toward us over on the hayward side. now let's see what it looks like from the other side. we do see the flashing lights and slowing as you near the top
4:41 am
of the high rise from foster city held up a bit heading over toward hayward. the flashing lights are clearing. the two lanes. so we should have better flow of traffic over the next few. the map shows us nothing dramatic. eastbound slowing because of the work crews. westbound, distracted by the flashing lights but no issues getting over to the peninsula. over west -- east of there, westbound 580 slows a bit coming out of the altamont pass and traffic cone reported in lanes over there at spring town left over from overnight construction. i put that hazard mark for 89th and g, the oakland fire. farz i know the roadways in the area except right at the scene are clear. >> thank you very much. tattoos and technology apparently don't mix. why ink is causing problems for the apple watch. plus -- >> we're always anticipating the worst case scenario. >> an elite team of rescuers called in to action after a trailer full of barn animals crashes on a busy freeway. >> i don't know what you're
